Haven't had much time to blog this weekend.....but even still, I managed to get rid of a few things. I am going to break one of my rules, the one about having it out of the house within 24 hours.....we are planning the bi-annual multi-family garage sale, and my greedy little heart just can't pass up the opportunity to make a dollar or two. Besides, I had already been setting things aside for the last month or so. I would hate to see all that effort go to waste. So......the garage sale is planned for April 9&10. I will keep the stuff in the guest room until then, and if for some unforeseen reason, the sale is cancelled, I will take the stuff to the thrift store on the 10th. I will not bring home any stuff (mine or anyone else's) from the sale that does not sell. I will not bring junk home. I WILL not bring junk home. I will NOT bring junk home. I will NOT bring JUNK home!
Okay, here are my lists from yesterday and today:
Friday:
1 skirt
1 shirt
5 dead house plants (I gave up trying to revive them)
1 more wicker basket
3 more old kitchen towels
Saturday:
1 bag of unmatched socks (about 20 socks)
40-50 sheet of computer printouts (all those forms that were going to help me get organized :)
1 bottle of stinky perfume
2 broken hair claws
1 Christmas candle
1 box of Christmas ornaments
6 jars of body creme
3 bottles of body wash
Tomorrow is the Lord's day and so, the mission will resume on Monday. I can't wait to go to church tomorrow. I haven't been able to go to worship with my church family for 2 weeks due to illness. Everyone is well as of now, so I plan to be there. I know I don't need to be at church to worship God, but it is such a blessing to worship with the body!
