30 Days of Thankfulness----Day 4

Day 4:  My parents are here for a brief visit on their way back home.  They have been visiting other relatives in Texas and in listening to them recount some of the things that they have witnessed and heard, I am very thankful that I have such a good relationship with my parents and siblings and extended family.  I may not see them very often and may go for extended periods of time without talking with them, but I know that if I pick up the phone to call, my voice will be a welcome one.  There isn't any of the snarky comments or tit for tat behavior that I have seen in other families.  Thank you God for the gift of family and thank you that mine is such a loving one.
