DAY 2: A picture of you and the person you have been closest to the longest...

I have known my husband since 1982, 29 years. I have been close to him for at least 17 of those 29 years. We went to high school together and both started out in band. That is how I met him. He dropped out of band after our sophomore year, but we had mutual friends. We really weren't much more than acquaintances. Then in 1994, we met up again in College Station, TX. He had moved there to complete college, and I had moved there, just for a change. We went out on our first date on April 13, 1994 and the rest, as they say, is history. I thank God everyday for the beautiful gift of marriage to a loving and godly man.
