Mission Impossible?

I am on a mission to get rid all of my junk.(that is what I consider to be junk, not someone else's idea of junk). So, this is my plan....I am going to get rid of 10 things a day for the next 30 days. That will be 300 pieces of junk that I no longer have to deal with. My guidelines are.....

1. It has to be MY junk.

2. It has to leave my house within 24 hrs of being selected.

3. I can sell it, give it away or throw it away, as long as it goes away permanently within 24hrs.

4. It has to be something that I have been keeping. Things that I regularly discard (ie.junkmail, newspapers, etc) do not count.

5. I will list each day what I am discarding. I can get rid of more than 10 things per day, but it must be at least 10.

In 30 days, I will reevaluate my junk level and see if I need a second round of tossing. Tomorrow, March 20, 2010 will be the first day of "Operation Junk Free".
Let the tossing begin..........

Hey, this sounds like a POSSIBLE mission! I like your guidelines. I think I'll use them also. Funny, though, today, while I was looking for some specific sewing supplies, I was digging around in a draw I don't frequent. I found a little container that ear plugs come in, it had green Tic-Tac candies in it. Now, frankly, how old those things are, I haven't a clue, Five? Sever years? But they tasted as fresh as ever. Also I found four unopened identical packages of sewing machine needles and three or four opened packages of the same.

From your fellow junk-free wanna-be,

Jill

Just a question, can you garage sale stuff in this thingy? That probably takes more than 24hrs.
I like your blog!

Allison,
You can garage sale the junk as long as it is not stored "in the house" I think I am going to "craig's list" anything that I have to sell. I don't really have a place to store it that is not in the house, although, I haven't come across anything worth selling yet :)
Thanks for your comments!
